On first sight, busy Bangkok can be overwhelming: chaotic traffic, skyscrapers teetering on the skyline and hectic markets. However, visitors come to love the City of Angel’s energy, with its many different areas to explore, friendly locals and delectable dishes.

After an afternoon free to explore the city at your own pace, the following day you’ll join a small group tour that’ll show off Bangkok’s most well-known attractions. Start at the regal Grand Palace and the glittering Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha, as well as see Wat Pho and Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn.

You'll have the following day free to discover Bangkok at leisure – perhaps hit one of the many shopping malls or check out tasty treats in Chinatown. In the evening, you'll head out on another shared tour - this time taking in the city's night scene as you visit Erawan Shrine, the colourful Flower Market and finish the evening in the racy Patpong district for after-hours fun.
