With its multicultural heritage of Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese and English influences, Malacca is a fascinating town to explore once you have discovered Kuala Lumpur!

On arrival to Kuala Lumpur, you’ll have the evening free – perhaps visit the KL Tower, Malaysia's most recognizable and popular landmark.

The next morning, you’ll go on the City Tour where you’ll cover attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Istana Negara and see the National Monument, the Tugu Negara. You’ll also pass by the National Museum, the impressive National Mosque and drive through Merdeka Square. Finally, you’ll pick up some Malaysian souvenirs at the Karyaneka Handicraft Centre, before finishing your tour.

The following day, you’ll be off for the Historical Malacca tour. Upon arrival to Malacca, you’ll first head towards a Portuguese fort at St. Paul’s Hill. Take a short uphill climb and see part of the fort standing in ruins. Next, you will visit Stadthuys, believed to be the oldest-surviving Dutch building in Malaysia! Take a few snapshots here before moving on to explore Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, where you’ll see locals praying and burning paper money for their deceased relatives. Finally, you will go to Jonker Street and visit the beautiful antique shops and try the local Peranakan cuisine at an affordable price, before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

Your last day in Kuala Lumpur is at leisure.
