The first draw of Hong Kong is usually the food – all that dim sum! But just because you’re looking for a halal-friendly experience doesn’t mean you have to miss out, as there are even a few places where you can grab halal dim sum too on the Island.

There are also plenty of fun attractions to see and do – on arrival to Hong Kong, you’ll have the first afternoon free to relax before the following day you embark on a morning half day shared tour of Hong Kong, where you’ll get to ride the iconic funicular railway to the Peak for stunning views across Hong Kong, as well as visit Aberdeen fishing village and Stanley Market for a spot of souvenir shopping.

Two areas that we recommend Muslim travellers to stay are in Wan Chai/Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island, and Kowloon/ Tsim Sha Tsui, as these areas have the largest mosques in Hong Kong, with easy access to halal-certified restaurants.
