With its fantastic weather, picturesque surroundings, laid-back city and friendly people, it is no surprise why Brisbane is called “Australia’s hippest city”!

After arriving into Brisbane in the morning, you’ll have the afternoon free. Explore your surroundings and perhaps check out the city centre. Wandering around the city will give you a feel of Brisbane.

The next day you’ll set out on an adventurous Croc Express to Australia Zoo tour, made famous by the late Steve Irwin, and you’ll get to experience Australia’s unique wildlife and thrilling shows performed by some of the resident animals first-hand. You will also head to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and see how the vets take care of animals in need. If you haven’t had enough of the cuddy animals, you can make for the Koala Walkthrough and go pat one of them for yourself! You’ll even visit the beautiful Sumatran and Bengal tigers at the Tiger Temple and watch them play, relax and swim, in a special underwater viewing complex.

The following morning, you’ll go on the O'Reilly's Green Mountains tour. You’ll first head towards Gallery Walk at Mt Tamborine, a street filled with souvenirs- make sure to bargain for a souvenir or two! Next, you’ll make a quick stop at Granny Mac’s a sweet shop famous for its delicious fudge and other sweet treats, then it’s onwards to O’Reilly’s. The Tree Top Walk is one of the most popular attractions at O’Reilly’s. If you are brave enough to walk along the platform 15m up in the air, you’ll be rewarded with close-ups of Australian wildlife. The final fun of this tour, before returning to Brisbane, is visiting an Alpaca Farm where if you are lucky, you might see Ray, the most photographed alpaca in the world!

The next day is at your leisure. Maybe take a stroll at South Bank Parklands and enjoy the stunning river view, lush parkland and world-class eateries.

Your last day is also a free day where you can relax and pack your bags for your trip home.
