Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city and one of the most positive thinking. Located on the river, this laid-back city has plenty of attractions to keep the whole family busy.

After an afternoon and the following morning free to explore Brisbane – perhaps riding one of the City Cats, Brisbane’s river boats, for a view of the city from the water; strolling in the green South Bank Parklands; or even adventuring to the Gold Coast Hinterlands to explore the rainforests, you’ll join an afternoon tour to one of Brisbane’s most famous attractions: the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

This sanctuary was one of the first in the world to actually offer cuddling a koala and is a very special place for those who love the furry, teddy bear-like creatures. After plenty of time to explore the sanctuary, where you can catch exciting animal shows, we’ll finish the day by heading to Mt Coot-Tha Lookout which offers stunning views over the city and the surrounding areas.

You’ll have one more day free to explore Brisbane – if you haven’t had enough of animals by then, you could choose to add another tour to Tangalooma to feed the wild dolphins, or even visit Australia Zoo. Or perhaps you’d just prefer to chill out on the Streets Beach South Bank, a man-made lagoon in the heart of the city. Whatever you do, you’re sure to have fun!
